Day of Action Against Pain
Nationwide day of action in Germany by the German Pain Society (first Tuesday in June). Back and neck pain are among the most common reasons for sick days.
Idea to get started
Introduce an active break: five minutes of neck and back mobilisation every day. Briefly check screen workstations (seat height, monitor, lighting). Point to certified back-health courses that German statutory health insurers subsidise for their members. Anyone in pain for a longer time: talk to the occupational physician.
Did you know?
More than 12 million people in Germany live with long-lasting, chronic pain. Back pain, headaches and nerve pain are among the most common.
