Fire Safety & Evacuation Drill (German Workplace Ordinance, Section 4)
Evacuation drill based on the escape and rescue plan – required "at appropriate intervals" (Section 4(4) ArbStättV, German law); many companies hold it annually. Refresh fire safety assistants: with normal fire risk, usually 5% of employees (ASR A2.2; DGUV Information 205-023).
Idea to get started
Announce the drill (date) and consider an unannounced test run as well. Designate evacuation marshals. Time the drill, log deficiencies, derive measures. Invite the fire department.
