International Day of Persons with Disabilities

UN day of action for the inclusion of persons with disabilities. At work, it is about accessible workplaces and about employees who return with limitations after illness or an accident.

Idea to get started

Check accessibility: entrances, toilets, digital tools and documents. Introduce the representative for severely disabled employees and the BEM contact person (BEM: Germany's statutory workplace reintegration process). Point to funding, e.g. for adapting workplaces (in Germany: the integration/inclusion office and the employer contact points "Einheitliche Ansprechstellen für Arbeitgeber").
