Clocks Change to Standard Time
Twice a year, the clock change shifts the daily rhythm; some people need a few days to adjust. After the switch to winter time, it suddenly gets dark earlier on the way home. Simple tips help staff cope better with the change.
Idea to get started
Intranet post one week before the change (last Sunday of October): "5 tips for the clock change." Tips: shift bedtime gradually, avoid alcohol, evening routine. Note for managers: show more understanding for fatigue in the first week after the change. Consider flexible start times.
