Company doctor consultation and check-up overview
Twice a year, clarify with the company doctor: who needs mandatory occupational health check-ups, who must be offered voluntary ones (ArbMedVV, German law – e.g. screen work, noise, night work), and have the invitations been sent and documented? Add an open consultation for employees – confidential and without waiting for a GP appointment. If you don't have a company doctor yet, you'll find occupational health services in the marketplace.
Idea to get started
Schedule and communicate a fixed consultation appointment (e.g., first Tuesday of the quarter, 9 a.m.-noon) for the entire year. Online appointment booking via Calendly. Budget the occupational physician's fee: occupational health service contracts are usually cheaper than individual fees. Emphasize confidentiality.
