Cold Season
The seasonal cold wave (October-March) costs German companies an average of 10 sick days per employee per year (DAK). Simple workplace measures can reduce illness rates by 20-30%. Combination: vaccination (already covered) + hygiene + nutrition + ventilation.
Idea to get started
Distribute a cold starter kit: hand sanitizer, tissues, vitamin C lozenges. Ventilation reminder in meeting rooms: "Please air out the room for 10 minutes after every meeting." Put up new hand hygiene posters. Company physician's tip of the month: "What really helps against a cold?"
