Autumn Flu Vaccination: Company Vaccination Drive
The annual flu vaccination lowers the risk of falling ill with influenza; the STIKO (German Standing Committee on Vaccination) recommends it for employees with a lot of public contact, among others. An occupational physician or family doctor comes to the company. Vaccination drive in September/October – ahead of flu season.
Idea to get started
Invite the occupational physician or a partnering vaccination center. Order vaccine in August (supply shortages!). Company covers the cost or coordinates health insurer reimbursement. Communication: emphasize the benefit (avoid paternalism).
